Questo Spazio risulta essere particolarmente interessante e affascinante grazie alle testimonianze archeologiche venute alla luce durante gli scavi. Antiche sepolture, un arco a tutto sesto in pietra e le
molteplici stratigrafie del terreno, lasciate a vista, raccontano l’evoluzione storica del complesso. Tra le
evidenze funerarie ritrovate, si distinguono una serie di tombe a cassa realizzate con mattoni, lastroni, distrutte dal tempo.
Nel Locale adiacente le indagini hanno rivelato una serie di strutture, quasi del tutto distrutte, relative ad un sistema idraulico costituito da almeno una canaletta e da tre vaschette di diversa grandezza.
Questa collocazione fa pensare ad una disposizione originaria delle vaschette “a cascata” con funzionamento a caduta per la decantazione delle acque. Inoltre, in questo locale, sono ancora visibili i resti di un’antica cisterna, ripulita e portata a nuova luce.
This area is particularly fascinating thanks to the archaeological evidence discovered during the excavations.
Ancient burials, a stone round arch, and the multiple stratigraphic layers of the soil, left visible, tell the story of the complex’s historical evolution. Among the discovered funerary remains there are several brick and stone slab tombs, though much damaged by the time.
In the adjacent room, investigations revealed the remains of a hydraulic system, almost completely destroyed, consisting of at least one channel and three basins of different sizes. Their arrangement suggests that the basins were originally overlapped working with a gravity-fed system to filter the natural fall of the water. In the same room, the remains of an ancient cistern can still be seen, now cleaned and brought once again to light.
